Atmospheric Physics and Remote Sensing (APRS) Lecture:

  1. Learn about satellite remote sensing techniques of the atmosphere.
  2. Understand the basic physical processes of weather and climate.

Topics treated:

  • Dynamics (winds, circulations),
  • Thermodynamics (pressure, temperature, …),
  • Radiation (trace-gas dependent, signals for remote sensing),
  • and the interactions between these physical phenomena.

Prerequisites: good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics.
