About this course:
Lectures and Tutorials take place weekly on Tuesdays at 9:00 and on Fridays at 15:00 in the 📍 Interim 1, Hörsaal 2, Garching. Course content information can be found in the intro slides. Lectures and Tutorials will be streamed, recorded, and uploaded to TUM Live, but we strongly recommend attending in person for the opportunity to ask questions and in case the TUM recording software fails to capture the content.Exam dates:

Exam format:
Format is still subject to change. Most likely, it will have 7 blocks corresponding to the 7 modules of the lecture. Each will give roughly the same amount of credits. The exam is closed-book, no cheat sheet, and will last 2 hours. Information on the overall question design and how to practice will be given in the lectures and tutorials (ask us!).
We don't make old exams available as per Prof. Grohs' wish. Due to this and the closed-book format, you can expect the exam questions to be on the more basic and conceptual side, as well as being solvable without extensive memorization (long formulas, etc., will be given to you). However, there will be example problems in the Tutorial that you can practice with, and several exam questions are usually strongly inspired by them!
Lecture-free days:
01.05. (First of May Holiday)
12.05. (Studentische Vollversammlung)
26.05. (Pfingsten)
(05.06. potentially bridge day depending on progress)
15.05. no bridge day -> we need the slot to finish module 2
