This
course is designed to be a starting point for your foray into online
teaching -- the eScout Academy is much more than just a Moodle course,
though. Weekly online meetings will be held for you to ask the instructors questions, as well as to discuss your
progress in creating online courses with your peers. You will learn not
only the technical details of how to create online courses, but what
makes a high-quality online course.
The purpose of this course is to train students to support instructors in creating and running an online course. As this is an online, self-paced course, you will be able to go through the material in any order and at any pace you choose, simply click on the topic of interest. At the end of the course, you will be able to support professors and lecturers in creating and running online lectures, tutorials, and seminars. No grade will be given for this course, rather, you will receive a certificate of completion from ProLehre | Medien und Didaktik.
