The course is intended to provide a comprehensive and detailed
introduction to the functionality of the software MATLAB / Simulink and
explain, for which aerospace engineering problems the tool can be used.
The course will cover how to implement methods and algorithms, for
example the simulation of motion and differential equations of dynamical
systems and the implementation of control algorithms.
To prepare students for the subsequent use of the software in an
engineering sense, it will be demonstrated how to work independently
with the tool. Therefore, the usage of the available documentation and
online resources will support the lectures as well as the exercises.
Homework and exercises will be assigned in order provide practical
experience to the students, and to simultaneously teach advanced topics.
