Introduction to the foundations of numerical simulation methods and their application in planning and designing buildings.
Over the course, basic topics of building performance simulation are studied. To do so, the essentials of climate and analyzing local climate are looked at. Simulation methods to study Daylight, solar radiation and energy demand will be conducted.
The simulations will be done with the Ladybug Tools, which come as a plugin for Grasshopper/Rhino 3D.
